We had a wonderful with our guide Pablo, who had so much knowledge to share about the local wildlife. We were even luck enough to see a rare nocturnal boat-billed heron, and a beautiful Guardabarranco, national bird of Nicaragua. We also saw monkeys and a group of bats! We recommend going as early in the morning as possible to see more wildlife and to avoid the hottest part of the day. Last piece of advice, bring something you can use to pad your seat as after 2 hours kayaking the back was a bit sore! Would absolutely recommend this activity to anyone visiting Granada!

We werden om 6 uur opgehaald bij ons hotel. Het was ongeveer 15 min. rijden. Elio was onze gids, een super leuke man die echt de tijd voor je nam! We kregen allebei een kajak toegewezen. Onderweg liet de gids ons af toe stoppen, muisstil wachten we af welke bijzondere vogel hij deze keer weer gespot heeft. We hebben veel foto's gemaakt. De kajak is echt een pluspunt. We zagen soort arend die over ons heen vloog. Een kleine uil 🦉,een havik die zich mooi had gecamoufleerd in de bomen. Witte reigers, prachtige bloemen in de boom, en waterlelies, en brulapen. 🙈 Het was absoluut de moeite waard.
