The prestigious Historium in Bruges opened in Autumn 2012. Meant to offer even the most traveled tourists a breathtaking experience beyond imagination, the Historium is not only true to history, but also unfolds a brand new concept that stimulates the five senses. Visitors will discover the Golden Times of Bruges as if they had been there, taking part in the exciting love story of Anna and Jacob, which is brought to life in the seven themed rooms. Film, décor and special effects merge to conjure up a magical experience. A discovery experience of everything one ever wanted to know about Bruges. And last but not least, all in the visitor’s own language. Open 7 days a week, the Historium is located in a pearl of a building on the famous town square in the heart of the city and will house an after show zone to let all the impressions sink in, a beer café with shop and terrace with a panoramic view over the town square and a tourist info center. The attraction is the meeting point for tourist guides and the gateway for a visit to Bruges.
