We did an afternoon trip with Capt. Paul and Ginny leading the walk and absolutely loved this experience. We were made to feel very welcome on board this beautiful old boat ‘Faith’, and given plenty of information about the how the afternoon would unfold. We were offered drinks and invited to explore the boat and ask as many questions as we wanted to. The captain filled us in on the history of the boat and after about 45 minutes cruising, Ginny lead us on a short walk (15 mins each way) to the Hidden Lake, stopping to tell us about some of the flora and fauna along the way. All fascinating. Once back on board, a delicious afternoon tea was served (more tea/wine/beer) and we returned to Te Anau with the sails aloft for a while. We were also given the opportunity to take the helm - what a wonderful experience! We can’t recommend this trip highly enough, especially if you like a historic motor yacht, a yummy tea and pleasant relaxed company. Paula & Paul

Organizers, captain and crew were amazing. The interaction with a small group tour was excellent. We all got to know each other and helped man the boat. To take a trip like that on a heritage boat was top notch. Then to visit such a special place with all the knowledge the tour guide had on our short walk to the hidden lakes was the icing on top of the cake.. which reminds me of the drinks and afternoon tea we had given to us on the return trip. This is a must do trip..

Very friendly and well-informed staff. Had a wonderful afternoon on board Faith. The history of the boat is intriguing! The walk to Hidden Lakes was beautiful and we were given lots of helpful information about the flora and fauna of the area. I'm very happy I chose this activity as it was excellent!
